Yes. Slack 1:1 direct messages are migrated to Google Chat 1:1 conversations. Slack group DMs are migrated to Google Chat group conversations. Complete conversation history is preserved, including file attachments, emoji reactions, and original timestamps.

File links embedded in conversations are automatically updated to point to their new Google Drive locations.
